DigitHead's patch cables are UL rated and wired to the TIA/EIA 568-B specifications, which is the most common in U.S. installations.  We offer both molded booted and non-booted style connectors.  Non-booted patch cords are great for PC to Network jack installations where cords are not as likely to snag.  Molded booted are commonly used in environments where multiple cables overlap each other such as wiring closets and modular furniture.  With all the wires overlapping each other, the cables can sometimes snag upon removal.  The RJ45 clip hangs on other wires or brackets but with our snag-less boot design that is no longer a problem.  The boot not only adds strain relief to the cable but also covers the clip allowing the cable to be removed from these sometimes cluttered places with ease.  Our molded boots sit flush with the sides of the RJ45 connectors allowing them to be used in tighter spaces.
